Hello old friends,
I am messin' around on the computer so I thought I would check in. There's a storm a comin' and I can hear the wind whippin' outside my window. Not much new to report around here. I am still unemployed. Ughhh!!! When will the madness stop and someone hire me? I promise, I have a lot to offer! My Sis turns 32 tomorrow. Holy Cow Ally, when did you/we get so old?
Speaking of being old and unemployed, This is soooooo not where I expected to be at the ripe old age of 35. I'm sure alot of people are feeling the same way right now. I can freak out and be miserable or I can stay calm and wait out the "storm". I am opting to stay calm. I am lucky that I have that option. Many other people are in the middle of the storm and feel that there is no hope and feel forced to do drastic, not so smart things. I say, keep your wits about you people! Stay strong, know that there is a calm that is coming and don't do anything stupid! Consider the things you do have and relish in those. Enjoy the extra time you get to spend with your family because as time goes on those opportunities will go too. Things come around, they always do. Until then, batten down the hatches!!!

Better Late Than Never
Holy Cow! It's official, I am pretty much the worst at keeping things posted on this blog. So here's a quick update on what's been going on. I have a 5 month old nephew named Bodie!! I call him the Toad because he pulls his head back funny and you rarely ever see his neck. He is a dreamboat! I have a new dog, his name is Marley (he came with the name so don't blame me). He is one and is also pretty dreamy. My mom also has a new puppy named Gunner. I don't know what it is but we pretty much have the cutest dogs on the planet (sorry everyone).
I am still without job so if anyone here's anything about a job be sure to let me know. :)
Here's the Toad!!! aka Bodie Tyler

My Latest Infatuation...
My Dear Friends,
I have found my new shoe dejour. Check them out at www.youbycrocs.com . They are by Crocs and are the cutest and may actually be comfy. Let's call it my current dream shoe. For some reason I can't get a picture of them to load so you will just have to check out their website. The style is the "Venice" and I would pretty much take a pair in every color. I am currently accepting donations....... :)

Raegs Late Summer Reading Recommendations
Hola my friends!
Most of you know that I am a pretty avid reader. I have started compiling a list of books that I love and think that you should too! Here's the deal with reading. It's all about finding a genre that you like. I have even converted my friend K-Jo a self-proclaimed "non-reader". She can obviously read she "just doesn't like to". Well, that is no more my friends! She not only borrowed one of my books last Thursday and finished it over the weekend she actually bought a book today! Yippeeeee! Shelly, my dear sister-in-law you can do it too. There is a reader in there somewhere we just need to find her.
So, without further ado, I present my working list of Raegan's Reading Rainbow. That was a shout out to Lavar Burton just in case some of you young folks didn't catch it.
Author: Jen Lancaster, http://www.jennsylvania.com/
Holy crap! Jen Lancaster is seriously one of the funniest people ever. Honestly, Jen, we
need to hang out. Anway, here are her books and if you don't read them you are totally
missing out.
1) Bitter is the New Black: Confessions of a Condescending, Egomaniacal, Self-Centered
Smartass, Or, Why You Should Never Carry a Prada Bag to the Unemployment Office.
2) Bright Lights, Big Ass: A Self-Indulgent, Surly, Ex-Sorority Girl's Guide to Why it
Often Sucks in the City, or Who are these Idiots and Why Do They All Live Next Door
To Me?
3) Such a Pretty Fat: One Narcissist's Quest to Discover if Her Life Makes Her Ass Look
Big, or Why Pie is Not the Answer.
Author: Laurie Notaro
Laurie's stuff is very similiar to Jen's. They are memoir style and hilarious.
1) Idiot Girl's Action-Adventure Club: True Tales From a Magnificent and Clumsy Life.
2) Autobiography of a Fat Bride: True Tales of a Pretend Adulthood
3) I Love Everybody (and Other Atrocious Lies)
4) We Thought You'd Be Prettier: True Tales of the Dorkiest Girl Alive
So there you have it. It's obviously a work in progress and there are definitely more titles and authors to come. Enjoy!

Experiencing New Things
2 posts in one day! Can you stand it!? Obviously I have a lot going on....
So, I am all about doing new things. A couple of weekends ago me, my mom and my seastar (sister) went out to the Great Salt Lake for Learn to Row Day. Believe it or not they have a rowing club out there and it's pretty fun. It kicks your butt but that's why everyone that was there to represent the club looked pretty amazing. Now, you can't just hop in the boat and BAM! you're a crew-star. First we started on land on the rowing machines (standard gym fare). Then we moved on to the boxes with paddles. Once we made sufficient fools of ourselves we got enough of the hang of it to move to the water. Yikes! I would like to take some more lessons so that I can go out on my own or with my peeps. Plus my legs could maybe return to their glory days. Trust me, they used to look really good.

Part Two of our Saturday of Newness: The Stihl Timbersports Series
Don't act like you don't know what I am talking about. Have you ever bee n cruising the TV stations and come across the Lumberjack games? Yeah....that's right, I got to see it in person! It was quite fun to watch and amazing that nobody cut anything off with the way all the sharp axes getting thrown around. Did I mention there was outstanding people watching as well?
Speed Climbers are Insane!
Really? I mean, Really?
Meet My Nephews
What's up Kiddies! I am not sure if all of you have met my super cute nephews. They just turned 1 last week and are currently weighing in at about 95 and 85 pounds. Bo and Buddy are crazy hyper and mellow fellows all at the same time. Oh yeah....they snore like it's nobody's business. Here are some pics from their first year.
Here are the "hotdogs" in their smaller days. They always have to be touching eachother while sleeping.
I was throwing snowballs. They like to chase and pounce.
Buddy in shades. He's cool. This lastest about 5 seconds.
Can you get any cuter than this?
